In ’76, Steen Kähler gratuated as M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
DANSK TEKNOLOGI since ’82
After working in Brüel & Kjær and at IPU (Institute for Product Development), Steen Kähler was hired as project manager in DANSK TEKNOLOGI.
Since '91, Steen Kähler has been director of development, and at the same time, he is board of member of DANSK TEKNOLOGIs Udviklingsaktieselskab and Produktionsaktieselskab.

Most projects have been carried out for leading companies such as AIRBUS, Bang & Olufsen, IBM, Xerox, Grundfos, Danfoss, Novo Nordisk, A.P. Moller - Maersk, Coloplast, Calsberg, Radiometer, Hewlett-Packard and Gategourmet International.
The projects cover a wide range of technological areas; from production and robot systems to awarded insulin pens, and from digital dosing pumps to NOx reduction systems for stationary and marine applications.
Author for a number of publications
Steen Kähler has authored several books on product development and design for assembly. Internationally well-known are "Design for Assembly" and "Montagegerechtes Konstruieren", both published by Springer Verlag.
Speaker and chairman at international conferences
With broad experience in product development, design for assembly, manufacturing and robotics, Steen Kähler has served as lecturer and "chairman" at a number of technical conferences.
Appointed expert in the High Court
Steen Kähler has served as appointed expert in automatic production equipment in the High Court of Denmark.
