29th of June, 2018: Maersk Supply Service and Vestas have announced on June 28, 2018 that the two companies join forces in strategic cooperation to develop new crane technology for installing wind turbines.

Commissioning of service vessel for ESVAGT

22nd of June, 2016: The vessel for servicing offshore wind farms, Service Operations Vessel (SOV) from the Danish shipping company ESVAGT, has been successfully commissioned with BLUNOX SCR solutions to their 4x Caterpillar 3516C engines.

With the BLUNOX solutions, which is the most compact and energy efficient NOx reduction system available, it is possible for the vessel to comply with the stringent IMO Tier 3 requirements.

Commissioning of Bernhard Schulte service vessel

4 additional BLUNOX systems to Silver Trans

7th of June, 2016: The Norwegian shipping company Silver Trans has equipped another 'Life Fish Carrier' vessel with BLUNOX SCR solutions.

The ship is of the type NVC 387 and has 4x Caterpillar 3512C engines, which will be equipped with BLUNOX solutions making it possible to comply with IMO Tier 3 requirements. The ship is nearly 80 meters long and is built on the Norwegian shipyard Kleven Myklebust.

1st of March 2016: Vibeke Morsing has been appointed Senior Executive Assistant.

Vibeke has been employed in DANSK TEKNOLOGI since 2011. She previously held the position as Business Coordinator, where she handled PA duties for management and coordination tasks within HR, marketing, web and logistics.

In her new position Vibeke will be responsible for the company's digital portals and domain management. In addition to being the coordinator of a wide range of internal processes, she will, in close cooperation with the management assist in the coordination, planning and follow-up on business development projects and also solve tasks for the BLUNOX team with regard to SCR projects both domestically and abroad.

7th of January 2016: The Norwegian ship owner Sølvtrans will equip their new Life Fish Carrier with BLUNOX SCR solutions, which are the most compact and energy-efficient NOx reduction systems available on the market thanks to Digital Dosing and Airless urea injection. The vessel is of the type NVC 387 designed by Rolls Royce and will be equipped with 4x Caterpillar 3512C engines, which will be fitted with BLUNOX solutions enabling IMO Tier 3 compliance. The vessel is nearly 80 m in length and will be built at the Norwegian yard Kleven Myklebust.

Jens gratuated as M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and has been employed in DANSK TEKNOLOGI the last 7 years. He comes from a position as Senior Project Manager, where he was responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of a wide range of development projects for leading international companies.

In his new position, Jens will be responsible for the management of development projects for DANSK TEKNOLOGI as well as the business and organizational arrangements associated with it. His responsibilities will furthermore involve sales and promotional activities.

23rd of October 2015: The Danish ship owner ESVAGT will equip their new CCV (Crew Change Vessel) with BLUNOX SCR solutions, which are the most compact and energy-efficient NOx reduction systems available on the market thanks to Digital Dosing and Airless urea injection. The vessel is of the type 931 CCV and will be equipped with 4x Caterpillar 3512C engines, which will be fitted with BLUNOX solutions enabling IMO Tier 3 compliance. The Vessel is designed by Havyard Design & Solutions and will be built at the Spanish yard Astilleros Zamarkona.

Order for BLUNOX systems for BOA Offshore

17th of September 2015: The Norwegian based ship owner BOA Offshore will equip their new eco-friendly Inspection Maintenance and Repair (IMR) Vessel with the most compact and energy-efficient NOx reduction system available. The BLUNOX system will be fitted to a Caterpillar C32 and thereby ensuring IMO Tier 3 compliance. The new building (BN 92) will be delivered from the Norwegian shipyard Noryards Fosen.

The vessel is of the type SX 175 and will be equipped with 4x Caterpillar 3512C engines, which will be fitted with BLUNOX solutions enabling IMO Tier 3 compliance. The new building (BN 309) from the Norwegian shipyard ULSTEIN are designed specifically to service offshore windfarms.

5th of August 2015: We are proud to announce that our BLUNOX SCR system has been chosen as 'Technology of the Month' by CTech (a product of Fathom, the maritime efficiency intelligence company).

Fathom comments: DANSK TEKNOLOGI's SCR system is particularly unique as it offers airless operation which eliminates the need for compressed air, flow dressers, exhaust gas mixers and a long urea injection pipe. Furthermore, there is no additional fuel consumption that occurs during functioning.  The system’s few components ensure maintenance is kept to a minimum with retrofit to a ship relatively straightforward and low time-consuming.

4 year contract with SCR on Danish Navy vessels

16th of June 2015: After a successful EU tender, DANSK TEKNOLOGI has been contracted for all service on Diana Class SCR systems for the next 4 years.

This ensures optimum performance of the applications on board in order to minimize the NOx pollution.

BLUNOX System fitted on ESVAGT offshore windfarm service vessels

6th of March 2015: ESVAGT's new tailor-made Service Operations Vessels (SOV) which are designed specifically to service offshore windfarms far from land, are now contracted for two major projects.

"ESVAGT FROUDE" started on a contract for Siemens Wind Power in February. Her sister ship "ESVAGT FARADAY" is set to start in April.

Both vessels are fitted with BLUNOX solutions prepared for IMO Tier 3 compliance. 

Apart from preparing the vessels for NOx-reduction, the scope of the building process has been to provide top-notch design giving maximum priority to safety, maneuverability, operational reliability, energy consumption and comfort under all conditions - waves, wind and weather.

BLUNOX SCR Systems retrofitted offshore on 'Mærsk Innovator'

1st of September 2014: For Maersk Drilling and a leading oil company, DANSK TEKNOLOGI has developed, manufactured, installed and commissioned a turn-key BLUNOX SCR catalyst solution for the drilling rig 'Mærsk Innovator'.

Down-time during installation on engines being retrofitted were less than 3 days end-to-end, and the NOx reduction on the fully installed system proved an impressive 97%.

No complete power-out during retrofit installation. 2 of 4 engines were always online and available during the installation.

Offshore urea container tank

18th of August 2014: DANSK TEKNOLOGI has developed a complete urea supply system in an independent tank for use in offshore BLUNOX SCR catalyst solutions. Capacity of 9,000 liters with day tank, buffer tank and urea filtration system. Made in stainless steel and built directly into a transport and storage friendly container frame.

The BLUNOX Urea tank is put into production and the first six systems have been delivered. The tank is designed according to and in compliance with DNV 2.7-1 and NORSOK R-002, and it has been approved by DNV GL and Lloyd's Register. The tank can be used for both new build and retrofit applications.

U.S. patent for sliding door system

17th of June 2014: DANSK TEKNOLOGI has invented a special Sliding Door System for flight kitchens which has been approved by the U.S. Patent and Trademark authorities. The invention has been developed in cooperation with AIRBUS and is based on the aim of providing an improved sliding door system that is more lightweight and less mechanically complicated than conventional sliding door systems and therefore particularly well suited for use in an aircraft, in particular in the galley region of an aircraft. The Sliding Door System is an essential element of the flight kitchen concept SPICE Galley, for which DANSK TEKNOLOGI has also developed a number of other patented inventions.

U.S. patent for folding trolley

3rd of September 2013: The invention of the collapsible/folding trolley for flight kitchens (Folding Transport Cart), which DANSK TEKNOLOGI has developed in collaboration with AIRBUS, has been approved by the U.S. Patent and Trademark authorities.

In its collapsible 'parked' configuration the trolley takes significantly less space than an ordinary trolley, and is thus an essential element of the flight kitchen concept SPICE Galley, for which DANSK TEKNOLOGI  has also developed a number of other patented inventions.

Bioreactor with unique features

22nd of May 2013: In collaboration with MC2 Biotek Group, we have developed the 3D ProtoTissue™ Bioreactor to be used for creation and cultivation of a broad range of 3D structures from immortal cell lines, biopsies, primary cells and stem cells. A total of 300 pcs. of the bioreactor have been manufactured and delivered by DANSK TEKNOLOGI during 2012.

Groundbreaking metrology tool for the semiconductor industry

10th of April 2013: In collaboration with CAPRES, we have manufactured and delivered an additional 8 sets of core modules for the microRSP A300 tool – the groundbreaking and leading metrology tool for in-line measurements of sheet resistance, essential for the semiconductor manufacturing industry. The tool has been developed with DANSK TEKNOLOGI as the lead technical advisor and developer of key custom mechanics.

Parasite concentration system

19th of March 2013: In collaboration with GRUNDFOS, we have developed a unique system for concentration of parasites in drinking water. The patent pending system is a key element in an automated system for detection of parasites and has great potential in online drinking water quality monitoring.

Automated sow feeding system

6th of March 2013: In collaboration with ASTUTE, we have developed and manufactured the mechanical hardware for a system for individual feeding of free range sows based on RFID tags and an innovative feeding strategy that significantly reduces feed waste and animal aggression. All 13 systems delivered for field test have operated successfully.

Framework agreement with Grundfos

14th of February 2013: Our longstanding cooperation with Grundfos on many successful projects has been further strengthened by entering into a framework agreement to secure a continuous cooperation at a substantial level.

Thanks to its Digital Airless Multipoint® technology, our BLUNOX SCR Systems fully meet the tough challenge posed by oil-rig gensets’ frequent engine load changes, which require fast, precise and dynamic urea dosing and injection.

We plan to manufacture and install the first systems in spring 2013.

1st of April 2012: DANSK TEKNOLOGI had 30 years anniversary on Sunday the 1st of April 2012. The day was celebrated with all employees on Friday the 30th of March.

DANSK TEKNOLOGI was founded by Thomas Lund in 1982. Since the foundation, the company has completed more than 850 development projects for leading Danish and international companies.

Approved by the French Research Ministry

28th of October 2011: Due to requests from our French clients, DANSK TEKNOLOGI once again applied for status as approved R&D organization in accordance with rules established by the Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche. Originally, we were CIR approved for the period of 2008-2010, and now we have been approved for the years of 2011-2013.

Eco Council about cleaner shipping industry

27th of October 2011: The Eco Council has released a new report about air pollution caused by the shipping industry. The rapport says: ”... The shipping industry is responsible for around 90% of the global transport of goods. Hereby, the industry comprises the foundation of the continued growth of international trade. At the same time, however, the significant volume of the industry means that it contribute with around 3% of the global CO2-emmision. Hence, the shipping industry gives a siginificant contribution to the human-made global warming..."

New double order for BLUNOX SCR Systems

26th of July 2011: The Norwegian shipping company Skårungen has decided to equip their new state-of-the-art trawler "Malene S" with the most modern NOx reduction systems available. Malene S is build with two engines, which will both be equipped with BLUNOX SCR in order to minimize the NOx pollution at the most. Currently, the ship is under construction at Ciliktrans Shipyard in Istanbul, Turkey.

Positive talks with Korean delegation

13th of May 2011: The BLUNOX team had the great pleasure of receiving the Head of the Korean Defence Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), Dr. Dae-Lae Noh, on board the Royal Danish Navy patrol vessel "Havfruen". Havfruen is equipped with BLUNOX SCR Systems, which removes up to 95% of the toxic NOx emissions from the ship exhaust gas. The high-level visit to Denmark was headed by the Korean President Mr. Lee Myung-bak.

23rd of July 2010: Article about BLUNOX SCR in online version of the nationwide newspaper "Berlingske". The article says: "... New order for BLUNOX from the Royal Danish Navy

24th of June 2010: The Royal Danish Navy has ordered BLUNOX SCR Systems for five additional patrol vessels. With the BLUNOX installation, up to 95% of the NOx emissions are removed. The ships "Freja" and "Nymfen" are to be refurbished in autumn 2010, and "Havfruen", "Diana" and "Najaden" are to be rebuilt in 2011. The order brings the total number of BLUNOX installations up to 13.

Received statutory food registration

8th of January 2010: Companies that develop and manufacture machines and equipment for the food industry needs to be registered at the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration in Denmark. At the same time, they need to have a proved own-check programme. DANSK TEKNOLOGI has received the statutory registration.

Naming of the world's first "green" navy ship

12th of December 2009: Today, the Danish Minister of the Environment, Troels Lund Poulsen, named the Royal Danish Navy patrol vessel "Rota". Installed with DANSK TEKNOLOGI's BLUNOX SCR Systems for up to 95% NOx reduction, Rota is the first "green navy ship of the world.

EEP Award to NoNOx Urea Dosing System

2nd of December 2009: Grundfos' NoNOx urea dosing system has been awarded with the EEP Award 2009 by the European Environmental Press (EEP) Association. In cooperation with Grundfos, DANSK TEKNOLOGI has developed the system, which eliminates NOx emissions from diesel engines.

First NOx reduction system installed on ship 

26th of October 2009: During the last two years, DANSK TEKNOLOGI has developed a unique SCR system for NOx reduction on marine applications. The first system has now been installed on a Royal Danish Navy ship (a patrol vessel in the Diana class).

8th of October 2009: DANSK TEKNOLOGI is member of Green Ship of the Future - a collaboration between research and industry with the purpose of reducing CO2 emissions and pollution from ships. Green Ship of the Future brings the climate agenda in the maritime world into focus by making visible efforts and creating synergy and coherence between the different projects.

23th of September 2009: Once again, DANSK TEKNOLOGI has been elected as Gazelle by the nationwide financial newspaper Dagbladet "Børsen" and "Soliditet". A gazelle is a company that has achieved positive growth in revenue or gross result every year during the last four financial years, and at the same time has more than doubled revenue or gross result in the concerned period of time.

Thomas Lund turns 60

12th of April 2009: CEO and owner Thomas Lund, DANSK TEKNOLOGI, turns 60 years today. At the age of 32, Thomas Lund founded DANSK TEKNOLOGI. He has been an active force for the company since the foundation.

Participated in international project for aviation optimisation

6th of March 2009: DANSK TEKNOLOGI has participated in the international E-Cab project ("E-enabled Cabin and Associated Logistics for Improved Passenger Services and Operational Efficiency"). The purpose of the project is to improve the operational efficiency and the service towards the travelling airplane passengers. The project has been done in cooperation with AIRBUS and other leading suppliers of the airline industry.

Achieved highest creditworthiness (AAA)

11th of November 2008: Once again, DANSK TEKNOLOGI has achieved the highest creditworthiness by the credit rating scale AAA® of Soliditet.

Approved by the French Research Ministry

9th of October 2008: Due to requests from our French clients, DANSK TEKNOLOGI once again applied for status as approved R&D organization in accordance with rules established by the Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche. The approval has now been received for the period of 2008-2010.

BacTerminators on Berlingske Online

18th of January 2008: Article about DANSK TEKNOLOGI in the online version of the Danish magazine "Ingeniøren" (the "Engineer"). The article says: "... Look closely at Novo's insulin pen.
