B&O: Treble speaker system for Audi A8

In close cooperation with B&O (Bang & Olufsen), DANSK TEKNOLOGI has developed a movement and transmission system for treble speakers in B&O's sound system for the Audi A8 range.

Together with Audi, B&O has developed an intelligent speaker system. In this connection, B&O wanted the treble speakers to move up automatically and silently, when the sound system is turned on. This makes high demands on the movement as well as the transmission system. DANSK TEKNOLOGI solved the problem by developing a special transmission that secured the system against mechanical damage.

Task
DANSK TEKNOLOGI has been responsible for (1) concept development, (2) detail construction, (3) manufacturing of prototypes, (4) tests of prototypes, and (5) preparation of production documentation.
